Tasks:
- Modeling & Texturing - Lookdev and Lighting I was responsible for modeling, texturing and look- development, and producing final renders on the end tags for this ad campaign for Cetaphil.
For this project we received physical bottles for the products from the brand. Using precise measurements and identifying the unique attributes of each product, I replicated and recreated each detail using CGI. It was also my responsibility to make sure that the aesthetic of the product (ie: shininess of the label, colors and texture of the bottle) were replicated correctly in the renders. Another artist did primary lighting and layout in the water-splash background, but the scene was returned to me for final color adjustment and lighting. I also produced a finalized render and refined the lighting for additional variations of the product layout. I focused on maintaining the same look between versions when compositing the shot in Nuke and adjusted the colors to maintain a unified and cohesive final look across each end tag. When rendering, I broke each scene element into layers to maximize control during compositing and scene assembly. Due to the amount of light refraction and transmission in the scene, the render times per frame were quite high, so having a clear plan for compositing ahead of time was essential for timely delivery. In the end, this allowed for us to deliver on time and have a solid template for delivering additional elements the client requested in the future. |

Tasks:
- Modeling & Texturing - Lookdev In this commercial spot, I modeled and textured the lotion bottle. I was responsible for the final look, colors and textures on the bottle, insuring that the appearance was as picture perfect as possible and match the visual direction of the project's Creative Director.

Tasks:
- Modeled product - Created initial fur groom for doefoot (Xgen) My role on this project was to model the Lifter Gloss Bottle and cap and create a fur groom for the makeup "doefoot" that goes into the bottle in one of the shots.
Modeling the makeup bottle itself was fairly simple, but groom presented it's fair share of challenges. It was something I had not done before and with only a few days left on the project I was able to complete it and pass it off to the lighters for the rapid delivery. This also was my first time working in the Redshift render engine, so I had to rapidly learn its ins-and-outs to ensure that the doefoot would look similar to the product reference provided, all while also learning the different groom tools available in Maya to create the fur system we needed for this spot using Xgen. In the end, we were able to deliver the job on time and the client was extremely pleased with the end result. |

Tasks: Modeling/UVs
On these projects, I modeled several of the props in the endtags, including the toy truck and the ball. Below I have included what they look like without shaders to show detail and wireframe construction lines to demonstrate the topology of the models.
